(1) get on with 与……和睦相处

eg. Can you get on with him? 你和他处得来吗？

How are you getting on with your classmates? 你和同学们的关系如何？

He is a person easily to get on well with. 他很容易相处。

(2) hang over挂在……之上，悬浮在……之上

eg. The trees grow so tall that they hang over the river from either side. 树长得很高，从河的两岸悬在河面上。

White clouds hung over the mountain peaks. 山峰上白云缭绕。

(3) whatever 任何（事物），每样（事物）；无论什么，不管什么

eg. Whatever she did was right. 她所做的事情都是对的。

I will do whatever you wish. 我会对你言听计从。

Whatever does he mean? 他究竟是什么意思？

We will never give up working, whatever happens. 无论发生什么事，我们将不会放弃工作。

Grammar Focus 

Could, should, and shouldn’t are used to give advice.

When you say someone could do something, it means that your advice is just one idea of many different ideas. 

When you say someone should do something, it means that your advice is the best idea or the only idea. 

Could is a less serious word than should.

Use the word could when you are not very sure of your advice. 

Use should when you are very sure of your advice.
