call/kɔːl/ v.打电话

考向一  call sb.给某人打电话

eg:My uncle called my father from Spain last week.上星期我的叔叔从西班牙给我爸爸打来电话。

考向二  在“call/ring sb.up”短语中,sb.是人称代词时必须用人称代词的宾格形式且放在中间。

eg:My brother called me up yesterday.

昨天我的哥哥给我打了电话。

This is Jenny speaking.我就是詹妮。

此句用于打电话时的自我介绍。

eg:—Hello,may I speak to Lucy?

你好,我可以和露西通电话吗?

—This is Lucy speaking.

我就是露西。

①打电话用语:

Is that…speaking?(请问)你是……吗?

Who’s that? / Who is speaking? / May I have your name, please? (请问)你是谁?

This is…(speaking). / It’s…here./…speaking. 

②要某人接电话一般用:

Can/May/Could I speak to..., please?

请问我能和……通电话吗?
