一次once；两次twice；三次及三次以上用

“数词＋times”。

对频率提问用how often“多久一次”。

eg：—How often do you go home?

你多久回家一次？

—Once a week.一周一次。

—How often do you go to the movies?

你多久看一次电影？

—Once a month.一个月一次。

reply/rɪ'plaɪ/ n.& v.回答；答复

reply和answer作动词时的区别：

answer 其后可以直接跟宾语

reply  后跟宾语时要加 to

eg：I replied to /answered his letter last night.

昨天晚上我回复了他的来信。

(1)answer与reply，两者均可表示“回答”，但answer 

属于常用词，多用于一般性的应答；而reply较正式，多指经过考虑而作出的答复。

eg：I’m looking forward to your reply.

我盼望着你的答复。

(2)answer与reply，两者作名词时，表示“对……的回答(答复)；答案”等，其后均接介词to。

eg：an answer to the question 这个问题的一个答案

(3)answer常与telephone, door, bell等连用，但reply不能这样用。

eg：Who answered the telephone？谁接的电话？
