【高频】look...up查找……；查阅……，指查找与文字信息有关的资料，用名词或代词作宾语。

eg：Please look up his phone number.

请查一下他的电话号码。

当代词it或them作宾语时，必须放在look和up之间，并注意代词用it还是them。

eg：I don’t know the meaning of this word. I’ll look it up in a dictionary.

我不知道这个单词的意思。我将在词典中查一下它。

“look up”还有“向上看”的意思。

be afraid“害怕”

相当于be scared。afraid是形容词，只能作表语，与be/feel连用。常用于以下结构：
