eg： With these people, he feels like a fish out of water.

【易错点】feel like想要，like为介词，后常跟动词的­ing形式，相当于“want to do sth. ”或“would like to do sth. ”。

eg: I feel like having a drink. Have you got any beer？   

我想喝点东西。你有啤酒吗？

常接动名词作宾语的动词有：

enjoy(喜欢)，finish(完成)，practice(练习)，consider(考虑)，mind(介意)，spend(花费)等。

eg: They enjoy living there. 

他们喜欢住在那里。

They practice playing the guitar every day. 

他们每天练习弹吉他。

[高频]plenty of 许多，大量

eg：There’s plenty of furniture in the shop. 

在商店里有很多家具。

plenty of多用在肯定句中，既可修饰可数名词又可修饰不可数名词，plenty of 相当于

a lot of/lots of。

eg：There are plenty of eggs in the fridge. 

在冰箱里有许多鸡蛋。

hundreds of 数百的

eg：Hundreds of people attended the concert. 

数百人参加了音乐会。

hundred前加基数词，表示“几百”时，hundred要用单数形式。

hundred与of连用，表示“数百”时，hundred要用复数形式。

eg：There are eight hundred students in our school. 

我们学校有800名学生。

There are hundreds of people in the park. 

公园里有数百人。
