1.all of a sudden 突然

常在句中作状语, 说明某一动作发生时的情况相当于suddenly.

e.g.All of a sudden, right after the summer, She gets married.

2.go down 倒下

e.g.Their aircraft went down during a training exercise.

3.so, that 如此;以至于

so 为副词, 后面可接形容词或副词,that 为连词, 后接结果状语从句。与so,that , 类似的结构为:such , that 。二者意思相同, 不同的是such 后面接名词。

so, that , 引导结果状语从句, 可以与too , to , 或“ not+ 形容+enough to do sth. ”作同义句转换。

(1)so 后面也可以接名词, 但应该有many,much,few,little 等表示量的形容词对名词加以修饰, 这时句式结构为:

① so many/few+ 可数名词复数+that 从句

② so much/little+ 不可数名词+that 从句

e.g.My garden was covered with so many butterflies that I could hardly see the flowers. 

e.g.These are so much water that I can,t through it.

(2)so , that 句式在修饰可数名词单数时还可以用在下面的句式中:

so+形容词+a/an+ 可数名词单数+that 从句。

e.g.So beautiful a girl  that I like her very much.
